9 notice if enrolment date deferred
automatic enrolment into a pension scheme
We refer to our letter about automatic enrolment into a pension scheme, in which we wrote that information, as required by the law, would be given to you. This notice contains that information. The law is mostly in the Pensions Act 2008 and Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Automatic Enrolment) Regulations 2010.
1 You may, by giving notice to us, require us to make arrangements for to become an active member of an automatic enrolment scheme and that you will be entitled to our contributions. [Because your earnings equal or are more than £5,824 pa you will be entitled to our contributions. (or) Because your earnings are less than £5,824 pa you will not be entitled to our contributions.
2 We deferred automatic enrolment until the deferral date, which is (date).
3 We will automatically enrol you into an automatic enrolment scheme if, on the deferral date, you are aged 22 or more but less than state pension age, are working or ordinarily works in Great Britain, yearly rate of earnings of more than the amount specified in section 3(1)(c) of the Act (which at the date of this notice is £10,000) are payable to you and you are not already an active member of a qualifying scheme.
4 A written notice from you must be signed by you or, if it is given by means of an electronic communication, must include a statement that you personally submitted the notice.
