These two
model constitutions are taken from the model constitutions published by the
Charity Commission at the link below. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/setting-up-a-charity-model-governing-documents
The model
constitutions as published by the CC are in PDF and include notes about their
use. The two above constitutions are
(subject to any unintended transcription errors) verbatim versions of the CC models, except that they exclude the
notes but include a cover sheet and table of contents. They are in Microsoft HTM format and can be
downloaded and saved as Word documents. First

The
application form must be completed on-line from the “Start or continue a
charity registration application” button at
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-register-your-charity-cc21b. The
information required can be gleaned from the Charity Commission’s guidance,
but the form does not appear to be available in a downloadable form, so
applicants are unable to prepare a draft off-line. This
is an anonymised copy of a form completed on 18 August 2017, which might help
applicants to prepare for making an application on-line. Some of the question are dependent on
previous answers, so this example shows some question that are specific to
the application and does not show all the question that might be asked. When
the on-line application has been completed, the Charity Commission will
respond by email with a PDF copy of the form as completed. |
